Who processes your data
Portancora, Painéis de Alumínio, Lda, Zona Industrial da Gelfa, Lote 2, 4910-010 Âncora, Viana do Castelo, Portugal. For any question about your data, please write to geral@portancora.pt.
What data we collect and why
- Contact and quote enquiries: name, email, phone, the type of client you tell us you are and, if you choose to add them, company, project location, sizes and whatever you describe to us. We use this data to reply and prepare a proposal (steps taken at your request before entering into a contract). We save your contact details at the first step of the form; the details in the second step are optional.
- Virtual assistant: the messages you write in the conversation and any contact details you share. We use them to reply to your enquiry and pass it to our sales team, who receive a summary of the conversation written by the AI assistant (it may contain errors).
- Door visualiser: the photo you upload, the suggestions and the generated image, and your contact details if you leave them. The photo is used only to create the simulation and for our team to prepare a proposal.
- Marketing communications: only with your explicit consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
Artificial intelligence
The virtual assistant on this site is an artificial intelligence system (Claude, by Anthropic) and says so at the start of every conversation. It only gives general information about Portancora and does not set prices or lead times: those answers always come from our team. Messages are sent to the model provider only to generate the reply. When AI is not available, the assistant works as a guided form, without AI.
In the visualiser, model suggestions and images are generated by artificial intelligence systems (Anthropic and OpenAI). They are illustrative simulations and do not replace the survey and quote prepared by our team. Photos are sent to these providers only to generate the response.
Who has access
The Portancora team and the service providers who help us run the site and our sales management, under data processing agreements: hosting (Vercel, Supabase, in the European Union), email (Resend), artificial intelligence (Anthropic, OpenAI), sales management (Pipedrive, during the transition) and development and maintenance (NILG.AI). We do not sell your data.
Some of these providers, such as Anthropic, OpenAI and, during the transition, Pipedrive, may process data in the United States. Those transfers rely on the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission and/or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, depending on the provider. You can ask for a copy of these safeguards by writing to geral@portancora.pt.
How long we keep it
An automatic clean-up runs every day. Visualiser projects without a contact request are deleted after 90 days, together with the photo and the generated images.
Enquiries made on the site, in the visualiser or with the assistant that do not lead to an order are anonymised after 24 months without contact or activity: the name, emails, phone numbers, notes and assistant conversation messages are replaced with placeholders, leaving only a record without personal data for statistics. The technical record of each enquiry (the data as it arrived) is deleted after 24 months.
Customer data is kept for the period required by tax law. Proof of consent (date, text version and an encrypted code of the IP address) is kept for as long as it is needed to demonstrate that consent.
Your rights
You can ask for access, rectification, erasure, restriction or portability of your data, or object to its processing, by writing to geral@portancora.pt. You also have the right to complain to the Portuguese supervisory authority, the Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (www.cnpd.pt), or to the authority in your own country.
Language and preferences
When you choose a language on the site, we store that choice in a technical cookie (portancora_idioma) for one year, only to show you the site in that language. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies.
